Continuing Series in the Life of a Pastoral Care Pastor

April 10, 2010 – Saturday; It was my normal scheduled day off but went to a Stephen Ministry Regional Network group to get familiar with other church running SM. All of my leaders went and we really gleaned some valuable information from the roundtable discussions. Things I hope we can bring back to our ministry and put into practice. Later had a scheduled meeting with a coach who is gathering information on our leadership practices so he can help us as a church leadership team better function. This was a short session and afterwards Jeanette and I went to Warrenton to help celebrate our daughter’s 40th surprise birthday party. It was great as she was totally surprised. She has some great friends who love her very much and that touches’ my heart. She is a great girl…the host put together a slide show with music of her early childhood that actually brought tears to her eyes and mine as well. It was very good.
